5 years of One Direction!

Somehow, it’s been five years since Harry, Liam, Niall, Louis and Zayn walked on to The X Factor stage - one by one, with bumfluff beards and youthful little faces! Five years and four albums later, the boys have taken over as the world’s most popular boy band, and pretty much the world's most popular people.

Between them, they have a Twitter following of over 100 million fans (though that does include Zayn - we haven’t come to terms with it yet), and this morning they’re denying that they’re taking any form of break at all - on with the world domination!

This weekend, The X Factor auditions are taking place at Wembley - are the next One Direction about to be discovered!? Here’s a reminder of the boys’ very first auditions - right before Simon Cowell squished them together to become every teenage girls' dream group.

And then there was their first performance together at the 'Judges Houses' when the magic happened, though we're not convinced that Louis was actually singing on the end there...? 

So here's to the next five years! Obviously we're all rooting for the return of Zayn, but with or without him, let's hope Harry's hair keeps on growing and the tunes keep coming!
