Watch Adele Demand To Restart An Emotional Tribute to George Michael

The 59th annual Grammy awards was yet another showstopper with Adele winning big this year. After kicking off the show with "Hello", Adele later won the awards for ALL FIVE NOMINATIONS including Best Song, Record Of The Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Album.

If that wasn't enough, she also paid an emotional tribute to George Michael with a rendition of Fast Love. Shortly into the song, she halted the performance with "I know it's live TV but I've f**ked it up, I can't do it again like last year. I'm sorry for swearing, I'm sorry for starting again. Can we please start it again? I’m sorry, I can’t mess this up for him”. It was a brave move considering the nature of the show and audience size - but goes to show what an incredibly humble and respectful artist Adele is. Needless to say, she nailed the performance the second time around.
