Eat Sing Sleep Repeat: The Lucky Voice fitness regime!

In our bid to get you all in top shape this January, we're finding all the awesome ways to slip some singing time into your busy schedules. If you need more persuading to start singing your way to a healthier lifestyle, take a read of our blog here for the physical and mental benefits.

To make life super easy for you to start your healthier lifestyle, we've created a Lucky Voice style fitness regime. It's pretty simple we'll admit it, but it works. Eat, Sing, Sleep, Repeat. We know, we're lyrical geniuses over 'ere! It's a daily regime but takes minimal effect for maximum output, which we all like in this modern day and age.

Eat

Whilst we at Lucky Voice HQ all know that eating breakfast is a must, or that fruit and vegetables are required for a balanced diet, we decided to leave it up to the experts for nutritional information. Sure, sugars, fats and fast food are bad for you, but what about everything else?  Have a read of the NHS 8 Tips for Healthy Eating which is easy to follow and is a reliable source of facts when it comes to the good stuff.

Sing

Now THIS is where our expertise lie. Singing not only boosts your mood, reduces stress levels and aids release of endorphins (lots of feel-good stuff) it also helps expansion of your lungs and oxygenation of the blood stream as well as toning the upper body muscles. You want to get fit? Get the vocal chords warmed up please! To help you, we've picked out the top 5 songs that will make you feel awesome:

1. Rachel Platten -Fight Song

2. Journey - Don't Stop Believin'

3. La Roux - Bulletproof

4. David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium

5. Pink - So What

Sleep

Let's admit it, we'd all like more sleep.  Whether it's unpredictable late nights or early mornings for work, we find ourselves constantly tired.  If we made a subtle change and get an extra hour's sleep every night, we'd reap the benefits tenfold. So turn the TV off earlier than usual and hit the hay to start recharging your batteries properly. Also, if you turn your phone off an hour before bed, you've got a better chance of falling asleep quicker (the lights from the screen tricks our brains into staying awake).

Repeat

Self explanatory dearest friends...do all of the above on a daily repeat and smash your 2016 fitness goals!
