"I'm sure I've heard this before..."

You know how it goes - you hear a new song for the first time and think to yourself  "this sounds familiar". Well, as Robin Thicke found out this morning, you can’t always get away with it and it could cost you a few bob!

With almost 70 years worth of pop music now out there, new songs have started sounding sneakily similar to songs from yesteryear. We found a few mashups which might have caught out some sly copycats of the music world. See what you think...

1) 'Some Nights' - Fun / 'Cecilia' - Simon and Garfunkel

2) 'Stay With Me' - Sam Smith / 'I Won't Back Down' - Tom Petty

3) 'Flight Test' - The Flaming Lips / 'Father and Son' - Cat Stevens

And today's talk of the town...

4)  'Blurred Lines' - Robin Thicke and Pharrell  Williams / 'Got to Give it Up - Marvin Gaye
