Sam Smith sings the theme tune for new Bond movie Spectre

Just when we couldn't love Sam Smith any more, he has been confirmed today as singing the theme tune for the new Bond movie Spectre. He's already recorded Writing's On The Wall back in January, but we have to wait until 25th September 2015 for it to be released to the world.

Sam actually wrote the song himself (co-written with Grammy award winner Jimmy Napes), telling the BBC it took only 20 minutes to complete. These two talents wrote Stay With Me and La La La so we have massive expectations on the new tune.

We must point out, Smith is the first British male solo artist to record a James Bond theme song since 1965. Wow. He has said it is one of the highlights of his career, so we can only cross fingers that it will become a huge hit.
