The top 10 signature tunes of Lucky Voice HQ

It's time...time to get personal. We karaoke lovers at Lucky Voice HQ always have a skip in our step, a song in our heart and a signature tune in our emails. This signature tune isn't chosen lightly, oh no, for with this choice comes great karaoke responsibility. It will be the song sung on our birthdays, the song added to the playlist for all future work parties - it's the song that represents who we really are. Can we change our minds? Sure, but no-one has. This tune is our tune for life.

Lucky Voice HQ - top tunes

1. Charlie: Ignition by R Kelly

First team night out and I somehow ended up singing it three times, constantly running my hands through my fro... I had originally wanted Come On Eileen as my signature tune but my insistence for Ignition that night meant that I've been doing my best to imitate Mr Robert Kelly ever since. Now usually I don't do this but....

2. Milo: Your Song by Elton John

I was told once (a long time ago) that it doesn't sound too bad when I sing it, so ever since then it's been my no.1.  I mean, it may be quite simple but, now that it's done...I hope you don't mind...if I sing it over and over?

3. Karolina: Don't You Want Me by The Human League

Quite emotional but not teary. It doesn't take long before you find yourself acting out the story line: singing to the closest person and asking them why they don't want you. Bit awkward when that person is your gran.

4. NJ: A Boy Named Sue by Johnny Cash

My Mum used to have a Johnny Cash tape in her car and she'd play this song for me because she thought I'd find it funny. Luckily, I did. Later I saw the craft in the story-telling, but when I hear it now it is still the humour and thrill of the final scene that gets me. Oh and "the mud and the blood and the beer!".

5. Adam: Walking in Memphis by Cher

I love the lyrics, they're very meaningful - who doesn't want to walk in Memphis? Exactly. Great song to sing for someone who can't sing very well and really wants to belt out at the top of their lungs!

6. Rubina: Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks

Because Stevie is a Queen. Enough said.

7. Vish: Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding

I want to get loved by my team and all Lucky Voice Karaokers.

8. Nix: Torn by Natalie Imbruglia

It was a sunny evening off the coast of Turkey, many years ago, when I bravely stood up to sing karaoke as no other holiday-maker wanted to give it a try. A moment of madness or a moment of genius? Well, it seems it was genius. I sung Torn like I've never sung before and I got a standing ovation. Thus, my signature tune was born.

9. Megan: Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns 'n' Roses

I have fond memories of me and my brother listening to Guns 'n' Roses in my old Panda driving through Cheddar Gorge and head-banging to this song. Me with short hair and him having just having shaved his off...just makes me smile.

10. Ollie: A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton

Well, as White Chicks is my favourite movie ever, it was a no-brainer for my signature tune. How did you know, I LOVE this song!  Watch and see:
