The Voice UK 2016 - the battle rounds!

Finally, the battle rounds of The Voice 2016 arrived and boy oh boy what a show it was! Whilst it felt like it went on for a veryyyyy long time, we enjoyed the battle after battle of contestants hoping to get picked or bag a steal. Most performances (unlike many other years) were less of a battle and more of a duet which was, quite literally, music to our ears. We much prefer harmonious singing than people trying to out-riff each other.

We are really impressed overall with this year's talent. Whilst there is still another show on Saturday for more battles (yes that's right, there are more) we feel the talent on this series is already set at a high level.
