Top 20 Karaoke Songs For Guys

From Backstreet Boys to Neil Diamond, these are the top 20 songs for guys to sing at karaoke

While it's the 2020's and of course anyone of any gender can sing whatever song they dang well please, the male vocal range tends to be a little more skewed towards shouty shouty than softly softly, so it's always a good idea to have an array of baritone-friendly fallbacks when it comes to karaoke. With that in mind, we've rounded up the top 20 karaoke songs for lads to belt out without needing to worry too much about key changes, high notes or an actual proficiency at singing. Enjoy!

P.S. You can sing all of these classic men's karaoke songs on your computer, tablet or smartphone using our online karaoke subscription service. Head to our homepage and enter the code GUYSSING for a month's free trial. And if you're really looking to go all out, the same code gets you £5 off all of our Home Karaoke Kits.

1) Wonderwall – Oasis

What a song, and what glorious 90s eyebrows! If there was a Lads National Anthem it'd probably be Wonderwall and it never fails to get a standing ovation at karaoke.

2) 500 Miles – The Proclaimers

Any song that allows you to shout along in a faux Scottish accent is a 24 carat gold winner! Fun fact: the band is actually made up of two twins, Charlie and Craig Reid.

3) My Way – Frank Sinatra

While it's unlikely you'll ever match 1/10th of the silky smooth suaveness of Frank Sinatra, My Way is still a fab pick for a gentleman's karaoke session.

4) Sweet Caroline – Neil Diamond

A favourite of the football terraces and of karaoke lovers across the country, Sweet Caroline is the definitive golden oldie for guys.

5) Everybody – Backstreet Boys

While the 90s might not have been a great time for fashion, it was a fab time for boyband anthems and Everybody is one of the best to perform at karaoke with your very own group of backstreet boys.

6) Fight For Your Right To Party – Beastie Boys

"Your mom busted in and said, what's that noise? Aw, mom you're just jealous it's the Beastie Boys!"

7) Folsom City Blues – Johnny Cash

Just get a bit of gravel in your throat and anyone can growl along to this classic Cash anthem. In fact, pretty much anything from the JC catalogue works perfectly for a guys' karaoke session.

8) Never Gonna Give You Up – Rick Astley

You, Sir, have just been Rick Rolled! The original song that inspired viral worldwide internet trolling is also an absolute karaoke classic. Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down...

9) Don't You Want Me Baby – The Human League

If you're in need of a boy/girl duet that doesn't hit the insane difficulty levels of something like Empire State Of Mind, Don't You Want Me Baby is an excellent choice for guys as the chorus is pretty much just shouting!

10) Hooked On A Feeling – Blue Swede

It's impossible to hear the opening "Ooga chaka" of Hooked On A Feeling and feel anything other than fabulous.

11) Born To Be Wild – Steppenwolf

"Get your motor runnin', head out on the highway, lookin' for adventure..."

12) Truly Madly Deeply – Savage Garden

If the gents above can hold the tune of Truly Madly Deeply, anyone can!

13) Come On Eileen – Dexys Midnight Runners

Any band cool enough to briefly make denim dungarees a thing is definitely worth singing! Another karaoke classic with a brilliant chorus for your whole crew to jump in on. Poor old Johnny Ray...

14) Start Me Up – The Rolling Stones

If it was good enough for your dad, it's good enough for you!

15) It's My Life – Bon Jovi

Fun fact: the success of It's My Life made Bon Jovi one of only two bands classified as 'Glam Metal' to have charted in the US Top 50.

16) Seven Nation Army – The White Stripes

The simplest of riffs combined with lyrics you've probably heard about a thousand times by now make this a fab karaoke choice. If Jeremy Corbyn can do it, so can you!

17) The Passenger – Iggy Pop

Fun/mental fact: Back in his heyday, Iggy Pop was so rock 'n' roll he'd regularly cover himself in peanut butter and roll around in broken glass during live performances. In the above photo he is crowd surfing while throwing peanut butter in to the crowd, as you do.

18) Thunderstruck – AC/DC

Man, that opening riff – THUNDER! THUNDER! THUNDER! Guaranteed spine tingler.

19) Mr Brightside – The Killers

If you don't know every single lyric to Mr Brightside, you clearly never had a year 8 disco! An absolute classic that's easy for large groups of lads to sing along to.

20) Don't Stop Me Now – Queen

What a song to end on! A fab karaoke pick if you're feeling unstoppable and want the world to know.
